Admin Manual - Guard Map
The Guard Map gives admins a live view of every guard’s real-time location, duty status, and patrol movement. It helps control rooms see exactly who’s active, where they are, and how long they’ve been on shift, all in one visual map. From this screen, admins can monitor on-duty staff, track patrols, and respond faster to emergencies or panic alerts. It’s the command map that turns field activity into clear situational awareness.
Overview
The Guard Map shows real-time guard locations and live activity updates. It helps admins track who’s on duty, on patrol, or responding to emergencies across all active sites.
Guard Tracking Panel – Displays current system status, showing total guards located and their activity type.
Status Summary – View counts for On Duty, On Patrol, Panic Alerts, and Unassigned guards at a glance.
Filter Guards – Narrow results by Status (On Duty, Patrolling, Off Duty, Emergency) or Shift Type (Day, Night, All Shifts).
Active Guards List – Shows each guard’s name, shift status, duration, and last update time with a quick link to Details.
Map View – Displays guard icons on the live map, updating automatically as they move or change status.
Reset Filters – Quickly clear all selections to view the full team overview again.
Use Case
An admin wants to verify that all night-shift guards have started their patrols and that coverage is balanced across multiple sites. By opening the Guard Map, they can instantly:
Filter by Night Shift to see who’s active.
Check the On Duty and On Patrol counts at the top of the panel.
View guard icons on the map to confirm their live positions.
Spot any Unassigned or Emergency alerts that need action.
Open Details beside a guard’s name to review activity duration or last update.
This allows the control room to maintain oversight, respond quickly, and confirm that every post is covered in real time.
Daily Use – Step by Step
Step 1 – Open Guard Map and scan the live summary
Go to Guard Management > Guard Map.
Confirm you see Guard Tracking - LIVE.
Do a quick health check: read the counters for On Duty, On Patrol, PANIC Alerts, and Unassigned.
Glance at Active Guards to see names, current status, duration, and Details.
Make sure All Status and All Shifts are selected for a full view. If anything looks filtered, tap Reset Filters.

Step 2 – Review the Guard Tracking summary
Check the LIVE indicator to confirm the system is actively updating.
Review the quick stats:
On Duty – how many guards are currently active.
On Patrol – how many are moving on routes.
PANIC Alerts – current emergencies requiring attention.
Unassigned – guards not linked to a post or shift.
Use this panel to get a fast sense of overall team activity before applying filters or diving into map details.

Step 3 – Check the Active Guards list
In Active Guards (x), scan each card for status (on-duty), shift state, duration, and last update.
Click Details on a guard to open their profile or live context.
Use this list to confirm who is online right now before you filter or dispatch.

Workflow Example
Typical Guard Map Workflow – Admin Perspective
The admin opens Guard Map to start a new shift check.
They review the Guard Tracking Summary to see how many guards are on duty and confirm there are no PANIC Alerts.
Next, they scroll to the Active Guards list to check when each member last updated and whether their devices are reporting correctly.
The admin filters by Night Shift to focus on the current team.
On the map, they zoom in to confirm guards are positioned where expected — for example, at gate posts or patrol routes.
If a guard shows as Unassigned or inactive, the admin clicks Details to check for connection issues or missed sign-ins.
Once all posts are verified, the admin resets filters to return to the full view and monitor for alerts.
