MyProtektor operates as an integrated security operations platform delivering the following capabilities:
- Incident Reporting: Capture, document, and monitor security events with real-time tracking
- Patrol Management: Coordinate guard patrols with GPS-based route verification and QR checkpoint scanning
- Emergency Response: Trigger immediate assistance through a panic button system with integrated billing workflows
- Role-based Access: Enforce a five-tier permission model governing feature availability per user type
- Real-time Monitoring: Observe active security operations and receive instant alert notifications
- Analytics and Reporting: Generate operational insights, compliance summaries, and performance dashboards
3. User Accounts and Registration
3.1 Account Creation
- All registration details you supply must be truthful, up-to-date, and complete
- Safeguarding your login credentials is solely your obligation
- Only individuals who are 18 years of age or older may register an account
- A single individual may not hold more than one account on the platform
3.2 User Roles and Permissions
- LiteClient (Level 0): Panic button activation, limited visibility of incident data
- Client (Level 1): Access to published incident records, full emergency features, historical logs
- Guard (Level 2): Submit incident reports, perform QR-based patrols, attach photographic and video evidence
- Admin (Level 3): Approve and publish incidents, oversee guard and client assignments, configure organisation preferences
- Owner (Level 4): Unrestricted platform access, manage billing and subscriptions, control organisational structure and personnel
3.3 Account Responsibilities
- Every action performed under your account is attributed to you
- Any suspected unauthorised usage must be reported to us without delay
- Maintaining accurate and current contact details is required at all times
- You must operate your account in accordance with all relevant laws and regulatory frameworks
4. Acceptable Use Policy
4.1 Permitted Uses
- Operate the Service exclusively for genuine security and safety operations
- Document authentic security incidents and real emergency situations
- Coordinate with fellow team members on operational security matters
- Utilise only those features that correspond to your designated role level
4.2 Prohibited Uses
- Fabricate, falsify, or exaggerate incident reports
- Activate the panic button outside of genuine emergency circumstances
- Seek access to functionality or data that exceeds your role permissions
- Disclose your login details to any person not authorised to use your account
- Employ the Service for any unlawful purpose, including harassment or surveillance abuse
- Disrupt, degrade, or compromise the operational integrity of the Service
- Decompile, disassemble, or otherwise attempt to reconstruct the underlying source code
5. Subscription and Billing
5.1 Subscription Plans
Several subscription tiers are available through MyProtektor, each tailored to specific operational roles within your security organisation. Detailed plan specifications and current pricing are published on our website and accessible within the application interface.
- Subscription tiers correspond to the five user roles: LiteClient, Client, Guard, Admin, and Owner
- Feature sets are calibrated to match the responsibilities associated with each role
- We reserve the right to adjust pricing and feature allocations upon providing adequate notice
- You may upgrade or downgrade your subscription at any point during the billing cycle
5.2 Billing Terms
- All subscription charges are invoiced on a monthly basis, payable in advance
- Amounts are denominated in South African Rand (ZAR)
- Payment becomes due on each recurring billing date
- Failure to remit payment on time may lead to temporary suspension of your Service access
5.3 Usage-Based Billing
- Select features may carry consumption-based charges in addition to your subscription fee
- Any usage-based fees are transparently communicated prior to feature activation
- Consumption charges are debited to your account automatically
- Access to emergency functionality is never withheld on account of an outstanding balance
5.4 Refunds and Cancellation
- Cancellation of your subscription may be initiated at any time from your account settings
- Upon cancellation, access continues until the conclusion of the current paid period
- Partial refunds for unused service time may be granted under qualifying conditions
- Fees arising from usage-based services already rendered are not eligible for refund

- Our target is 99.9% platform availability, though uninterrupted operation cannot be unconditionally guaranteed

- Urgent maintenance may occasionally be carried out without advance notice
- Any service disruptions will be resolved as swiftly as possible

- Technical assistance is offered during standard business hours
- Around-the-clock support is provided for critical security emergencies
- Response time commitments are determined by your subscription tier
- Assistance is available in both English and Afrikaans
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent allowable under applicable law:
- Our aggregate liability is capped at the total fees you have paid for the Service
- No claim may be made against us for indirect, incidental, special, or punitive losses
- We make no guarantee that the Service will function without defects or interruptions
- All use of the Service is undertaken at your own risk

You undertake to defend, indemnify, and hold MyProtektor harmless against all liabilities, damages, costs, and expenses that arise from:

12. Termination
